It 6am. The kids are running around in the house and I can hear their foot steps on the wooden floors. I ask myself, "is it weekend yet?", of course to realise that its only Tuesday. Hey, not that that is a bad thing.
I drag myself out of bed, jump into the shower and then so the day starts. Fresh out of the shower, my little girl pop around the corner with spotty, miss matched socks, a red head band with a huge red flower, a PJ shirt and a tutu finished off with blue shoes. Oh how I love daycare fashion.
I have come to the conclusion of letting my children choose their own fashion styles to go to school with, is certainly a battle not worth struggling over. Why should we care? Why should we worry about what our little monkeys wear to school. If we do, are we not teaching them now to judge and to worry about what people think of us. Should we not aim to rather be at peace with whom we are and simply love life…
I embrace and take inspiration from my kids crazy amazing fashion ideas. Now its my turn.
